Dear Praying Friends,
As we write this letter
holidays are just around the corner. Perhaps some
holiday time will be spent travelling to a cottage, and
on a rainy day at the cottage there's nothing like
working on a jig saw puzzle! Are you the kind of person
that stays up late till that last puzzle piece is in
place? What a feeling of satisfaction when the picture
is complete!
We are thinking of
children whose whole lives are before them. For some of
them, their lives remind them of a jig saw puzzle, but
with pieces missing, or worse still no picture on the
lid of the box to go by. They wonder what life is all
about, and where they fit in. Is there a God who cares
about them and can He help them make sense of the
sometimes disturbing parts of their lives?
It is our joy and
privilege this summer to bring the good news of
salvation through Jesus to boys and girls by means of
Vacation Bible School and back yard Bible Clubs. We will
have the chance to fill in some of the missing pieces
and to give them the picture as God our heavenly Father
sees it.
While we are out
teaching, the quieter ministries of Mailbox Bible Club
and CALL-A-STORY will still be going on. Some of you
know that we've been praying for a long time for someone
to provide new stories for children to listen to when
they call the story line. BCM missionary, Gloria Burns
from Port Franks, has been doing just that and her
stories are excellent! Please pray for strength for her
to keep at this worthwhile task. The number to call to

As we go into these
summer months we don't know which children the Lord will
entrust to us or the impact we'll have on their lives.
Would you pray please that something we say will make
the remaining puzzle piece fall into place for a child
in their understanding of the gospel and that many
children will see the total picture of God's love for
them. Thank you!
